What's New?
Controller View Updates
We received reports of the Controller View page jumping and sometimes breaking when data is refreshed, so we have investigated the issues and have implemented some changes to reduce, and hopefully remove, these issues.
The Controller View page will now lock itself from automated updates while you:
- are entering values into any of the Book On or Off Actuals fields.
- have an accordion open for entering further details.
While the page is locked for updates, you will see a red padlock icon by the 'Last Updated' timestamp in the top right hand corner of the page.
Turn Description added to Controller Report
As you can now add Descriptions to Non-Diagrammed Turns, we have included the Turn Description field to the Controller Report. This field will display the Turn Description for both Diagrammed and Non-Diagrammed Turns.
Roster browser tab title updates
To make it easier to find a specific Depot when you're working on multiple Rosters at the same time, we've updated the browser tab titles so the Base Rosters include the Depot name, and Weekly Rosters include both the Depot name and the week number.
Weekly Roster moved to the top of the Print View
In the previous release, we introduced the ability to create a print version of the Base Roster which relates to the Weekly Roster you are viewing. However, the Weekly Roster Print View is still the most commonly used, so we have moved this to the top of the list and set as the default choice, to reduce effort in generating the Weekly Roster Prints.
Bug Fixes
Bug: Zendesk Ref #118400 - Base roster fatigue report - why do some Spare turns have no Risk & Fatigue Values.
Fix: Risk and Fatigue was being calculated without considering new turns. The method has been updated and should be correctly calculating Risk and Fatigue going forwards.
Bug: Zendesk Ref #117293 - Spare Turns Generating X26 Fatigue Errors.
Fix: This seems to have been caused by the previous bug (#118400), and has been resolved by the fix to that bug. However, it is important to note that the published Base Rosters will not be fixed automatically and will need to be recreated to fix the issue.
Bug: Zendesk Ref #118572 - X14 code validation error in base roster - Minimum time before Safety Critical Turn not met - however they have 2 RD before the turn.
Fix: This bug has been resolved and should no longer be an issue.
Bug: Zendesk Ref #117191 - Arrow Button on Turn details not clickable.
Fix: The Edit Turn Details button has been updated to function when clicking anywhere on the button, rather than only when clicking the text.
Bug: Zendesk Ref #118534 - Weekly Roster - Assigning Uncovered Turns - Text Turns White.
Fix: We have done several tests on different browsers and machines, but unfortunately have not been able to reproduce this issue. If the issue persists then we recommend using a different browser, or feel free to get back in touch with our support team with any additional information which could support our investigation.
